Residential Finance Costs

Claiming Residential finance costs	Claiming Residential finance costs Not applicable if Property Type is Furnished Holiday Let – UK or Furnished Holiday Let – EEA. Amounts entered in the expense type Loan interest and other financial costs will populate the Loan interest and other financial costs field in the Residential Finance Costs section.
Amount of residential finance costs included in total above	The amounts entered here will be used to calculate the Deductible residential finance costs and the Amount of residential finance costs eligible as a basic rate tax reduction which in turn will populate box 44 on page UKP2 on the UK property pages.

The totals from all Other UK Properties will appear on the Residential Finance Costs summary tab.
